Project Title: Connection of new LE supply to Level 8 (A side) Maintenance date: 4th November 2026 Duration in Days: 1 Work Window: 9:00 to 18.00
Work Breakdown: Transfer of all loads currently on A bar to the B bar to allow shutdown of the A side for connection of new parallel feeder referenced above.
Purpose of Project: To safely undertake termination of a new parallel feeder (2 x 300mm 4c) from breaker reference LE 2A
Systems Impacted: Reduced resilience from 2N utility to a single source for 48 hours.
Method of Procedure: The works will be carried out in accordance with the specialist contractors Method Statement and Risk Assessment and Global Switch approved Method of Procedure.
Risk Analysis: This is a low-risk activity. Although LE incomer will be a single source there remains a second source of generator / DRUPS standby power.
Mitigation Measures: UKPN will be advised and cooperate to ensure no switching is undertaken on the local network and will advise of any issues they are aware of to allow us to formally assess.
Back out Plan: Make safe and reinstate 2nd source.
Deferment Analysis: This work is necessary to meet contractual programme requirements for customer on Level 8.
