As GlobalSwitch London East approach our migration to facilitate the removal of Level 5 from the DRUPS backed system onto the more efficient generator and SUPS backed systems , there will be periods of reduced resilience . The attached documentation explains this along with theit timelines for undertaking the works. Essentially, we have 2 periods at approximately 2-3 weeks each commencing October 23rd through to the end of November.
Isolation of PSS /5/A from Power station B ( 23rdOctober – 9thNovember ) The first period commencing 24 th October through to 9 th November will be isolating the ‘A’ HV supply from the A power station and running on the B supply only . This is considered a minimal risk. During this period, GlobalSwitch London East will also be running fail over scenarios during the generator testing, and this will introduce some additional risk as we will be relying on the static ups systems installed on your floors.
