The work will include transferring electrical supplies from HVS1 to HVS2. During the switching period, selected electrical systems will be temporarily de-energised, including:
Power supplies associated with DCM102, DCM101 and DCM122, SH1 and SH2
Selected 22 kV distribution boards and high-voltage low-level systems During the work, the affected data centre systems will temporarily operate with N+1 power availability through utility power and generator backup, rather than the normal 2N utility configuration. The work is planned and controlled, and no interruption to customer IT loads is expected. For the SH (Security House) buildings, the power feed will be: Week42, SH1 will only have B feed, with generator Week 45 , SH2 will only have A feed, with generator Planned date and time: Week 42, start Monday 12th of October switching from HVS2 to HVS1 Week 45, start Monday 2nd of November switching from HVS1 to HVS2
Expected duration: two week, week 42 and 45 Our operations team will monitor the electrical infrastructure throughout the activity and restore the normal configuration once the work has been completed and verified.
